Spotipo Alternative
Looking for an Alternative to Spotipo?
Spotipo is a cloud-based captive portal platform that gets guests online, captures their contact details through branded splash pages, and syncs that data to CRMs and email tools. It runs on a long list of router brands, publishes per-location pricing, and positions itself for hotels, restaurants, venues, MSPs, and multi-location chains.
MyPlace is a Spotipo alternative that does the same capture job and then puts the data to work: guest WiFi on the hardware you already own, verified email capture, and automated review generation on Google and TripAdvisor, with a review inbox and AI-assisted replies built in. Spotipo Pro and MyPlace Growth are the same $79 per location per month. The difference is what happens after the login: the same splash page can build a mailing list, or build your reputation.

A quick comparison
See how MyPlace and Spotipo compare, row by row. Every Spotipo cell comes from their own website, integrations page, and help center, checked 22 August 2026. A red mark means the feature is not offered on spotipo.com as of that date.
Both publish per-location monthly pricing. A 3-location group on Spotipo Pro pays $237 a month in plan fees for guest WiFi and email capture; the same group on MyPlace Growth pays the same $237 in plan fees and adds automated review generation on Google and TripAdvisor, a shared review inbox, and AI-assisted replies. At entry level: Spotipo Starter is $177 a month for the group, MyPlace Essentials is $147 with a Google review inbox included. Each MyPlace plan includes a monthly allowance of new unique guest emails; email bundles are optional add-ons if you capture more, and returning guests never count against the allowance.

Frequently asked questions
Stuck on something? We’re here to help with all your questions and answer in one place.
Switching from Spotipo
Most venues follow three steps. Keep your access points and controller, update the captive portal redirect to the MyPlace splash page, and publish your branded pages. Our team will guide you and provide templates. Export your guest list from Spotipo first (it supports CSV export) and we’ll import it so your history carries over.
MyPlace works with the most common hospitality WiFi setups, including Ubiquiti UniFi, Cisco Meraki, Ruckus, Aruba, and Cambium. If your vendor is not on our list, we can usually deploy using a standard redirect URL and hosted splash page.
Yes. UniFi is one of our most common setups - see our guide to captive portal software for UniFi. MyPlace connects to your UniFi controller, hosts the splash page, and captures guest data the same way. And if you don’t run your own controller, we can host one for you for $10 a month.
Almost certainly. Like Spotipo, MyPlace syncs guest data to tools like Mailchimp and Klaviyo in real time. Tell us what your stack looks like and we’ll confirm before you switch.
Pricing and plans
Both publish per-location monthly prices. Spotipo: $59 Starter and $79 Pro on monthly billing ($49 and $66 on annual). MyPlace: $49 Essentials, $79 Growth, $159 Advanced. The difference is what the money buys: MyPlace Essentials includes a Google review inbox, and Growth includes automated review generation on Google and TripAdvisor - Spotipo offers no review features on any plan (spotipo.com, checked August 2026). Migrating multiple venues? Ask about volume pricing.
Differently, and it’s worth understanding before you compare. Spotipo caps unique guests per month (2,000 on Starter, 5,000 on Pro). MyPlace plans include a monthly allowance of new unique guest emails (Essentials: 100, Growth: 200, Advanced: 300) - and returning guests reconnecting never count, so your regulars cost nothing. If you capture more new guest emails than your plan includes, you add an email bundle (from $30 a month) or use flex overage. Either way, WiFi never stops working for guests.
Yes. We work with agencies and IT providers migrating whole venue portfolios. We offer volume pricing, migration support across your whole book, and a partner arrangement that rewards you for the venues you bring. Contact us to talk it through.
