Revolutionize Your WiFi Experience with MyPlace UniFi Update!
Hello from the team at MyPlace! We’ve been hard at work and are excited to share a bunch of updates that we think you’ll find useful. Our newest features range from a slick integration with Airship, a hospitality CRM, to a self-healing hostname feature, among others. Not to mention, we’ve also improved our search function, made our auto-translation better, and fixed a few bugs. Here’s what we’ve been up to.
Airship Integration
We have just released a new integration with the hospitality CRM, Airship. Now you can transfer all user data seamlessly to Airship for marketing and engagement campaigns. In addition, you can send user behavioural data from MyPlace to Airship to accurately build PoP (proof of presence) records for your users. This is a comprehensive integration that will significantly enhance the value of your Airship database for customer engagement
Self Healing Hostnames
One of our most popular features in 2022 was the hostname with SSL cert generation for UniFi consoles. This allows MyPlace clients to create a FQDN hostname and resolve it directly to their UDM or cloud key. Now we have taken this one step further by creating self healing hostnames. If the public IP of a location is not static, and does change, then MyPlace can detect that change and update the hostname to reflect the new IP. This will be very useful for locations that do not have the option of a static IP.
Improved Search Function
WiFi user database search function has been improved, making it easier to find specific email addresses and other variables
Auto Translation Improvements
In April we introduced auto translation so that the WiFi guest portal could be used in any language. We improved on this in May, by adding the ability to add custom text, matched to the users natural language. It has never been easier to capture email on UniFi
