Setting Up MyPlace on Zyxel (Nebula) Controllers

Integrating MyPlace with your Zyxel (Nebula) controller allows you to offer a fully branded guest Wi-Fi login experience with minimal configuration. The integration process is straightforward and only takes a few minutes to get up and running.

Once connected, you’ll be able to manage, customize, and monitor your Wi-Fi guest network directly from your MyPlace account.

Adding a Zyxel Controller to MyPlace

Step 1: Gather Admin Credentials

Before starting, ensure you have the Username and Password from your Zyxel controller’s admin panel.

Step 2: Select Zyxel from Network Controllers

  1. Go to the Networks page in your MyPlace account.
  2. Click on the Network Controller tab.
  3. Choose the Zyxel (Nebula) controller from the list.


Step 3: Enter Controller Credentials

Enter the Zyxel credentials into the appropriate fields to allow MyPlace to connect to your controller.


Step 4: Complete Setup

Select the appropriate organization from the dropdown, then click Finish. Your Zyxel controller is now successfully linked to your MyPlace account.




Adding a Location Using a Zyxel Controller

Once your Zyxel controller is connected, follow these steps to assign a location and SSID:

Step 1: Navigate to the Controller

Return to the Networks page and open the Network Controller tab.

Step 2: Select Controller and Add Location

Click the + icon on the Zyxel controller you’d like to use.

Step 3: Assign Location, Site, and SSID

In the modal window that appears:

  • Select the location you want to link.
  • Choose the Zyxel site.
  • Pick the SSID where you’d like the MyPlace guest login to be active.


Step 4: Finalize Configuration

Click Add Location to complete the setup. Your MyPlace guest login is now applied to the selected SSID and ready for use.
