CaptiFi Alternative
Looking for an Alternative to CaptiFi?
CaptiFi offers guest WiFi with email capture, review prompts, and automated email campaigns for hospitality venues, priced by guest volume.
MyPlace covers the same job and goes further where it counts: review requests triggered by your reservation system and payment platform as well as WiFi, a review inbox built for teams with assignments and status tracking, and a flat per-location plan price instead of guest-volume tiers.
And because your WiFi login page is the front door to all of it, it has one job: load, every time.

A quick comparison
See how MyPlace and CaptiFi compare, row by row. Every CaptiFi cell comes from their own site, documentation, and status page, checked 13 August 2026; A red mark means the feature is not offered on captifi.io as of that date.
The pricing difference in practice: a 3-location group pays $237/month with MyPlace ($79 per location on Growth, including 200 new guest emails per venue each month - capture more and you add a bundle, the plan price doesn't move). On CaptiFi's published tiers (€59-€179/month by guest volume), the bill depends on how busy each venue was.

Guest WiFi platform comparison
The differences to weigh: MyPlace can trigger review requests through your reservation system or payment platform as well as WiFi, its review inbox lets your team assign reviews and track status across locations, and it charges a flat plan price per location rather than tiering by guest volume. We also suggest checking any vendor's public status page for real uptime history before you sign.
Check any vendor's public status page for real uptime history before you sign - CaptiFi publishes theirs at status.captifi.io. Ask what the uptime was over the last 90 days, and what customers are told when something breaks.
Data, privacy, and security
Yes. You can add consent text to capture forms, keep review prompts lightweight, and honor deletion requests. Contact us for details on processing and data retention.
Yes. Private feedback forms can be anonymous. You can optionally request contact info to follow up.
Setup and migration
Most venues follow three steps. Keep your access points, update the captive portal redirect to the MyPlace splash, and publish your branded pages. Our team will guide you and provide templates. Export your guest list from CaptiFi first and we'll import it so your history carries over.
MyPlace works with the most common hospitality WiFi setups, including Ubiquiti UniFi, Cisco Meraki, Ruckus, Aruba, and Cambium. If your vendor is not on our list, we can usually deploy using a standard redirect URL and hosted splash page.
Most single location setups go live quickly after branding assets and review destinations are confirmed. Multi location rollouts vary with WiFi provider access and approvals.
Yes. We work with agencies and IT providers migrating whole venue portfolios. We offer volume pricing, migration support across your whole book, and a partner arrangement that rewards you for the venues you bring. Contact us to talk it through.
Pricing and plans
CaptiFi's published plans are tiered by monthly guest volume (from €59/month for up to 1,000 guests, as of August 2026). MyPlace charges a flat plan price per location that includes a monthly allowance of new guest emails; capture more and you add an email bundle, but the plan price itself doesn't change and returning guests never count against your allowance. Migrating multiple venues? Ask about volume pricing.
