WiFi Compliance
Guest and staff WiFi you can answer for

What is WiFi compliance software?
WiFi compliance software controls who gets onto a guest or staff network and keeps an attributable record of every connection. Each user is identified before they reach the internet, their acceptance of your terms is timestamped, and each session is logged with device, IP address and access point.
An incident with no name
A security team sees a guest-network IP in a log and cannot say whose device it was. An open network or a shared password has no record behind it.
A tender or a questionnaire
Procurement asks how visitor WiFi is controlled, whether users are identified and whether access is logged. "It's an open network" does not score.
Too much admin
Sponsored guest accounts, shared passwords that never rotate, a library system that stopped talking to the network. IT should not run a help desk for WiFi.
Runs on your controller
No new hardware. MyPlace sits on top of UniFi, Meraki, Cisco, Ruckus, Omada, Aruba and Cambium and manages access at the software level.
Guests and staff on one system
Visitors identify themselves with a verified email. Staff sign in with a one-time link checked against Microsoft Entra ID. Same session record for both.
Evidence you can hand over
Guest records export to CSV and every session sits on the person's record. When someone asks for evidence, you have it in the dashboard.

Who uses this
Built for hospitality first. Offices and public bodies use the identity, access and logging side with the marketing switched off. See the guest WiFi software overview.

Verified identity
Visitors identify themselves with an email address that is verified in real time before access is granted.
Session expiry
Set how long access lasts. The controller ends the session when time is up or the device goes quiet.
Staff sign-in via Entra ID
Work email, one-time link, checked against your Microsoft Entra ID directory. Corporate domains only.
Block a user
A specific email address can be blocked so it no longer gets a session at sign-in.
Session log with IP
Person, device address, local IP, SSID, start, last seen and end reason for every connection.
Admin audit log
Every administrator action logged with user, action, target, time and IP. Kept for 180 days.
Access point and SSID
Each connection records which network and which access point the device joined through.
Named accounts and permissions
Individual admin logins with separate permission levels. No shared password for the venue.
Terms acceptance timestamp
Acceptable use and privacy acceptance recorded against the individual at the time they accepted.
CSV export
Guest records export at any time, so evidence requests are answered from the dashboard, not from memory.

Software that identifies every user before they get onto a guest or staff wireless network and keeps an attributable record of each connection: who, which device, which IP address, when, and that they accepted the acceptable use policy.
Yes. Each session records the local IP address the network gave the device, alongside the person's verified email, the device address, the SSID and the start and end times. Look up the person to see their sessions, or search by the IP.
No software does. Cyber Essentials asks very little of guest WiFi specifically; a separate guest network on your own controller covers most of it. Where MyPlace helps is when a tender schedule or questionnaire goes further and asks for identified users, recorded acceptance and attributable logs.
Yes. Staff enter their work email, receive a one-time sign-in link and are checked against your Microsoft Entra ID directory. Visitors use a verified email address. Both paths produce the same session record.
Yes. A specific email address can be blocked so it no longer gets a session at sign-in.
Yes. MyPlace runs on top of your controller: UniFi, Meraki, Cisco, Ruckus, Omada, Aruba and Cambium. No new hardware.
Administrator activity logs are kept for 180 days. Guest and session records are kept for the life of the account and can be exported at any time.
No. Those controls live on your controller or firewall, where they belong. MyPlace controls who gets on and keeps the record.
